MORE ABOUT KANSAS CITY INVENTION CONVENTION

The Kansas City Invention Convention (KCIC) is a STEMIE (STEM + Invention + Entrepreneurship) competition and outreach program presented by the Linda Hall Library that supports 17 counties and 31 school districts in the Kansas City metro area. KCIC teaches problem-solving and creativity to students in grades 5-12, while providing educators with a project-based curriculum to inspire the innovators of tomorrow.

INVENTION CONVENTION WORLDWIDE

KCIC is an official affiliate of the Invention Convention Worldwide program presented by the Henry Ford Museum.

The Invention Convention Coalition is a community of affiliates and supporters who collaborate on developing curriculum and programs, establishing best practices, and growing a community of changemakers. The Invention Convention Coalition affiliates share a vision of a world in which all K-12 learners have access to innovation, invention, and entrepreneurial learning to gain the confidence and skills to control their own destiny and help shape a better future.

The program is supported by inHub, a community built by educators, for educators, with over 4,500 educators enrolled who get access to resources, professional development opportunities, and experiences that are designed to inspire innovation, creativity, and invention.
